Fuddruckers History: San Antonio, Texas, Hamburgers, Casual Dining, Rock And Roll Theme

Fuddruckers history reveals that as much as people hate to admit it, almost every American loves comfort food. Try as they might to abstain from hamburgers, french fries and milkshakes, a mere road trip is enough to send just about anyone running to the nearest hamburger joint. Perhaps there is something inherently nostalgic about the fifties, rock and roll themed quality of restaurants like Fuddruckers, or perhaps it's as simple as the affection for convenient food at relatively low prices. Whatever the cause, many people find themselves thoroughly enjoying casual dining restaurants and their multitudes of mozzarella sticks. Moreover, Fuddruckers history is in itself an inspiring and interesting story. In fact, it could be argued that Fuddruckers history may be even more enjoyable than that food itself.

Fuddruckers history began in March of 1980, when a man named Philip J. Romano founded a casual dining restaurant called Fuddruckers in San Antonio, Texas. The first restaurant in Fuddruckers history was located inside a converted bank and was built on the warehouse model. The customers themselves could actually see the Fuddruckers hamburgers, buns and desserts being made. Once the hamburger was cooked, it would be served open faced to the customer. The customer would then take their hamburger to a condiment bar, and choose the toppings of their choice, including several different kinds of cheeses. This way, the customer could make their burger exactly the way they wanted it, and could also see how fresh the ingredients were. All of this was geared towards making Fuddruckers history, and supporting the claim that their Hamburger was The World's Greatest Hamburger.

Looking back at the humble beginnings of Fuddruckers history, it is startling to see how this casual dining restaurant has ricocheted into the 21st century. Fuddruckers history is an impressive one, beginning with one restaurant in Texas then resulting in over 200 Fuddruckers restaurants worldwide. Fuddruckers history was made when Fuddruckers spent approximately a quarter of a million dollars to renovate each of these rock and roll themed locations. Fuddruckers has also spent almost a half a million dollars to redecorate its flagship Texas location. The casual dining restaurant has also updated its menu to go beyond just hamburgers. Some menus now include large dinner platters like lemon pepper shrimp, and rib eye steaks. Baked potatoes are served up by the pound, and Fuddruckers' salads and desserts have also been revamped into larger sized portions.

However, no matter what is on the menu, it is the Fuddruckers hamburger that helped make Fuddruckers history. Fuddruckers hamburgers include specialty burgers, vegetarian burgers, ostrich burgers and, naturally, a huge one pound burger. While these delicious menu items are epic in size, they are relatively inexpensive in cost. The hamburgers range between $5to $10, the signature dinner salads average about $8, and the milkshakes average about $3.

The low prices, the casual dinning atmosphere, and the ability to top a burger any way one chooses have all succeeded in making Fuddruckers history a rich and awe-inspiring one. With over 200 locations worldwide, including restaurants in Egypt, Bahrain and Saskatchewan, Fuddruckers can indeed boast that it serves The World's Greatest Burger. With just a few clicks of the mouse, almost anyone can find their mouthwatering online menu as well as directions to the nearest Fuddruckers casual dining restaurant.
